You may not be familiar with Gavrielle by name, however, it’s likely that you’ve already heard her dulcet tones somewhere before.
Having previously featured on Gareth Emery’s 100 Reasons To Live album, as well as Flyboy’s ‘Maze’, which has amassed over 874,000 Soundcloud plays to date, her vocals have already been shared and heard across the world. However, it is now time for Gavrielle and her distinctive voice to take centre stage as she debuts her first single, ‘Flannel’.
Produced by SAINT NICO, ‘Flannel’ is a certified anthemic pop track. From the off, we were hooked by her breathy vocals, which glide effortlessly over the beat. The lyrics are relatable, and will resonate with anyone who’s ever found the strength to let go of someone who was dragging them down.
Speaking of the track, the Los Angeles native said: “‘Flannel’ is a coming of age song that embraces self-discovery and transformation. It’s based on the powerful moment when you realize you’ve reached the other side, an end of an era. You’re able to make peace and finally let go of something (or someone) you’ve realized was selfishly holding you back from becoming who you’re growing into.”
