Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson are among the greatest music icons of all time. Sadly, the legends died at a young age. The death of the stars has devasted many but Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley was among those who mourn the most.

Marie Presley was an American singer and songwriter. The singer was married to the music legend Jackson and had a successful career. Marie Presley’s hits include Lights Out, To Whom It May Concern, and Now What. Marie Presley, as per her cousin, tried to connect to the spirits of her father, Elvis Presley, and former husband Jackson.

Lisa Marie Presley Tried to Connect the Spirits of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson

Recently, Lisa Marie Presley’s cousin Danny Smith revealed on his YouTube channel Memphis Mafia Kid that Marie Presley held a seance to try and contact her father. “Lisa Marie, after Elvis passed away, held a seance to try and contact her daddy. Fact,” Smith said on a YouTube reel.

Marie Presley also tried to connect to her father, Elvis Presley’s spirit on different occasions. Once at a birthday party of the singer held at the Queen Mary, some of her closest friends joined her seance. Among her other friends, Pete Yorn was one of the attendees of the seance. “It was spooky,” Yorn told  Rolling Stone once.

“Everyone said it was haunted. My friend was in the room next to ours, and he swears that in the middle of the night, his music system turned on out of nowhere. It was a cool memory, but I didn’t sleep a wink,” he added.

Lisa Marie also attempted to connect to the spirit of her ex-husband, Michael Jackson in 2010. Jackson’s former hairdresser Karen Faye who attended the event told Express, that Jackson appeared “unsettled” but “he seemed more jovial with Lisa. The psychic turned to me and said Michael is telling me, ‘You took such good care of me, and I am so sorry I hurt you so much.’”

It appears that Marie Presley could not move on after the death of her father, Elvis Presley, and ex-husband Michael Jackson.

Lisa Marie Presley Mourned For The Death Of Her Loved Ones Since She Was Nine

Marie Presley has seen the pain of loss since she was just a 9-year-old child when she lost her father. Later, her former husband Jackson died. However, she was most devasted when she lost her son Benjamin Keough in 2020.

Mourning the death of her son, Marie Presley wrote an essay for National Grief Awareness Day in August 2022 to publish in People Magazine. “Death is part of life whether we like it or not, and so is grieving,” she wrote.

“Grief does not stop or go away in any sense, a year or years after the loss. Grief is something you will have to carry with you for the rest of your life, in spite of what certain people or our culture want us to believe. You do not ‘get over it,’ you do not ‘move on,’ period.”

The singer also shared her experience of life-long mourning, “I’ve dealt with death, grief, and loss since the age of 9 years old,” Marie Presley wrote adding that, “I’ve had more than anyone’s fair share of it in my lifetime and somehow, I’ve made it this far.”

“But this one, the death of my beautiful, beautiful son? The sweetest and most incredible being that I have ever had the privilege of knowing, who made me feel so honored every single day to be his mother? Who was so much like his grandfather on so many levels that he actually scared me? Which made me worry about him even more than I naturally would have? No. Just no … no no no no …”

Marie Presley passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving behind her daughter Riley Keough, twins Finley and Harper Lockwood, and her mother, Priscilla Presley.
