Dana White appears to have a sense of humour when it comes to criticism about his highly controversial Power Slap promotion.

The UFC president caused a stir earlier this year when he got involved with slap fighting and launched his own league after being caught on camera hitting his wife.

Since its debut, several Power Slap clips have gone viral and caused concern for viewers who are worried about the fighters not being allowed to defend themselves.

White insists his new league is doing great and he recently revealed Power Slap has two billion TikTok views before claiming its new mobile video game is outperforming ‘FIFA and Call of Duty.’

Ahead of UFC 292 in Boston this weekend, White met up with former welterweight champion Matt Serra and commentator Din Thomas to scout some Massachusetts MMA prospects for their 'Looking for a Fight' YouTube series.

As Serra and Thomas arrived at their hotel, they were greeted by the MMA mogul who was wearing a bellboy costume and asking to take their bags.

The man who famously knocked out Georges St-Pierre in one of the UFC’s greatest upsets took one look at his former boss and immediately let rip with a savage dig.

Serra quipped: “Wow! I guess the Power Slap didn't work out.”

White immediately burst into laughter and later told a camera his hysterical reaction to Serra’s joke didn’t stop for half an hour.

"It was one of the funniest one-liners of all time. I could not stop laughing for like 30 minutes,” he said.

Serra was pretty happy with himself, he added: “I got him with a zinger. You know, he was trying to get through his job, but he got through it."

After they were done joking around, White took Serra and Thomas to meet his old boxing coach and also show them the eatery he most frequently goes to when he’s in his home city.

In the evening, they went to watch Combat Zone MMA’s latest show and look for talent at the event run by UFC featherweight contender Calvin Kattar.

Two fighters on the card caught White’s attention and he invited them backstage to meet his entourage before offering them a shot on the Contender Series.

A win could lead to both men earning their place in MMA’s best league.
